The benefits of T_EX

What are the advantages of T_EX ?

• It is a programming language.
  You are in control of the source.
  The limits of your own intelligence determine the limits of what you can do, not the limits of the tools created by other people.
• T_EX users form an open-source oriented community.
  You don't know how to do something?
  In most cases there is probably somebody in the community who solved a similar problem.
  Study her/his source and learn how to solve your problem.
  This is a much better method than the study of a thick book which shows you some tricks without teaching you really something.
• T_EX is difficult!
  Yes. It is fairly difficult to program in T_EX.
  But you can use, for example, L^AT_EX, in which you find plenty of ready-made solutions to your problems.
  Writing the usual paper in philosophy or in some humanistic discipline is far more easy in L^AT_EX than in any WYSIWYG editor.
